PGD, a genetic diagnostic technology prior to conception, is used for test-tube baby therapy. By using embryo biopsy and genetic diagnosis to screen chromosomal or genetic abnormal embryos, increasing implantation rate of health embryo and avoiding the birth of offspring with genetic diseases.
