Suffering from long-term infertility and the challenge of age, I would like to recommend Honji Fertility Center to everyone who cannot find satisfying solution in Japan, or someone looking for better treatment. 

At the end of this February, I gave birth to my first child at the age of 41.
I had received comprehensive infertility treatment at Honji Fertility Center in Taiwan. That’s why I want to write down this experience to share with you.
I started to want a baby after age 35. At that time, I measured basal body temperature and tried natural pregnancy. Nothing happened until I was 40.
At age 40, my husband and I went through several examinations, and he had also shown infertile symptoms. Then we realized that if we want a baby, we had to choose “micro-assisted fertilization”.
We visited famous infertility centers in Japan, but the fees, the doctors who always rely on odds, and the routine procedures made me concerned. I could not make myself decide to do this.
Then one of my husband’s friends recommended Honji Fertility Center to us. This brought us to Taiwan for brief introduction.
At first I was very worried about having treatment in other countries, but Doctor Chang talked to me with optimism and positiveness. He/She told me that even at age 40, I had good chance of success. This made me consider Doctor Chang trustworthy.
Having in-vitro fertilization in another country was a very serious decision, yet this clinic released my anxiety with a sense of security.
Clean and tidy space, advanced medical devices, careful staff, and experienced Doctor Chang made me feel calm and peaceful while I made the decision.
Three months later, I took a break from work and returned to Taiwan for treatment.
Because of busy work, I requested to have ovum retrieval to transplantation finished within 10 days.
Although I chose ovum retrieval without anesthesia, I hardly felt pain with Doctor Chang’s superb skills, and he/she managed to retrieve 15 eggs for me.
At Honji Fertility Center, every step was clearly explained to me, such as 3- or 5-day culture, 3 embryos for transplantation at most (Up to 4 in Taiwan), etc. I received my treatment with a total understanding of the full situation.
Thanks to these careful doctor and staff for me to be treated under such relaxing and positive mood.
Before I got to know the result, I had felt satisfied by this treatment and mental fulfillment of successfully achieving.
I took hormone balancing medicine and injection back to Japan.
Following that, the result of the pregnancy test in Japan was “positive”!
It was truly indescribable joy!
Having said that, considering my age, the doctor prescribed medication for 12 weeks to prevent miscarriage.
Because Japan does not offer these tocolysis procedures, I feel very pleased with such detailed care.
So, on February 25^th this year, I successfully delivered a boy weighed 3208 gram.
Though cesarean had to proceed because the baby’s head and my pelvis did not align, we were both safe.
Until today, I still feel lucky and thankful to meet Doctor Chang and to have my treatment done at Honji Fertility Center.
